Blog-a-versary Giveaway

It's my blog's 1st birthday! My blog actually began on February 29, 2008, but since this is not a leap year, we're celebrating today... and all week. As a thank you for your readership, you'll have the chance to win all that you see here...

If you have followed this blog for any length of time, you know that I love black and white. So, I've put together black and white goodies for one fortunate reader. The giveaway treasures include:
* 1 white ruffled pillowcase (for embellishing or crafting)
* 1 vintage black and white retro flower scarf
* 1 bar of my handmade peppermint soap
* 6 - 6 inch squares of white aida fabric
* 1 - 4 inch embroidery hoop
* 1 floral ponytail holder
* 2 vintage black and white napkins
* 1 white wool felt floral headband (made by me just for this giveaway)
* and 1 grey bracelet will be converted into one of my text bangle bracelets (upon winning, simply let me know if you prefer Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility or Twilight.)

How to enter the giveaway:
- Leave me a comment to this post and you will have 1 entry.
- If you have a blog, mention this giveaway on your blog and link back here. Leave me a comment letting me know you've linked and you will receive 1 additional entry.
- Visit The Little Birdie and tell me (in a comment) what your favorite item is in my shop. You will receive 1 additional entry.
- Visit Acorn Pudding and tell me (in a comment) what your favorite item is in my shop. You will receive 1 additional entry.

You have 4 possible chances to enter the drawing. The giveaway drawing is limited to the U.S. only and contest will close at midnight on Saturday, March 7, 2009.

Best wishes!

This is quite a stash! I love all the things you've included, I guess my very "favoritist" would be the soap, but they all look great! And congratulations on one full year of blogging!

"When it snows she has no fear for her household for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes coverings for her bed."

"She is clothed with strength and dignity: she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness." Proverbs

I love this passage so much it was hard to pick which parts to put in this post.

God bless. Linda and Carol

OH My Gosh Diane! Talking to you on the phone last night I realized I had yet to check out the giveaway ... I am so glad I remembered to look first thing this morning as it is the last day to enter! I love your assortment of black and white goodies :). OH, and we did finish Lonesome Dove!

Ok - I want three entries (as my blog is no currently not attended to ...) and I love to check out your shops anyway ... So:
From The Little Birdie I really like how you have gone chunky with the bracelets (better for reading your favorite passages!) And I like how you framed important names in the earrings ... I already have and enjoy my Twilight bracelets (Thank you!) so I guess I have to pick something that I did not see on your site but I know is possible - An earring set with Bella and Edward framed in the earrings (does that count as a favorite thing? Something I want :) ) I also like the festive red needle book - the fabric is very pretty.
From Acorn Pudding I have a tie between the Origami book and the folk peasant earrings. Both are great!!
Keep up the good work Diane!

My favorite thing in your Acorn Pudding shop is the vintage turquoise apron with the ric rac and flowers. I've been eyeing it for awhile and hoping it will still be for sale when I once again have a paycheck so I can get it.
