Please forgive the reflective flash photography... (this scarf was being sewn in the late night hours just a week after Henry was born, and just days before our big move.) The fabric was simply cut to size, hemmed with vintage, thrifted lace and ribbon bows.
Turquoise is such a radiant color on my dear friend and this happy plaid just suits her. So does the lace.
I see more plaid scarves on the horizon here. Who can have too many scarves??

Very nice Diane! Plaid, lace and bows make a wonderful combination. It is beyond chilly here these days... maybe I'll be joining in on the scarf making... poor me I only have one ;-) I'll be scrounging around in my craftroom for lace!
Beautiful! Great job! You're so creative. I know I say that all the time but you are!! And obviously a great friend if you stayed up that late to make a scarf for your friend right after Henry was born and before your move! I would have been passed out and drooling in that situation. :)
Love the lace! So girly!!!
I love it!! And it was so simple!! Now I know I have some plaid material in a drawer somewhere.... I think I might at this to my list of tiny projects!!
I'm glad you are back to blogging more in your very busy life! I've missed all of your creative ideas!
Alena is always wearing that black/white floral scarfe that I got from you!
I remember when you made that, it is even prettier in person! I know your friend loved it.
