I used Lion's Brand Landscapes yarn in Rose Garden - two skeins. This is my own "pattern" of the stockinette stitch... 11 stitches wide.
- Row 1: k1, p1, repeat.
- Row 2: p1, k1, repeat.
- Repeat and repeat until you're sure you'll never be done with this blasted scarf.
- Repeat some more until you're sure that you never want to knit again.
- Finish off.
- Ignore the mistake stitches.
- Wrap around your neck and enjoy for 8 days until the weather will be too warm to wear it.
(P.S. The brown speckled Express sweater was thrifted for $1.00.)

My sentiments (about knitting) exactly!!
I love to crochet! :) In fact, just thinking about learning to knit scares me. Crocheting is fast and just mindless for me, which I enjoy... I like to make scarves while watching TV, and I hate counting rows and stitches! :)
The colors in this scarf are gorgeous! Just the name "Rose Garden" appeals to me!
I tried to knit and I tried to knit and I have never finished a DARN thing.... I've tried to crochet and I've tried to crochet and I only finished one scarf!! End of story :O)
I love your instructions! Hehe! I have found I like to crochet more than knit as well.
Rose Garden looks like a beautiful yarn!
You'll be cozy next winter:-)
Lovely scarf Diane! I actually really enjoy knitting once I get started. It's the getting started part that I have trouble with.
