My thrifting hibernation was unintentional, so... Who couldn't use a little pick me up on a rainy day? Looking ahead to spring, I thrifted a floral sheet, pillowcase and wooden handled purse. (I'm also being hopeful in moving away from a diaper bag and back to a real live purse!) A snappy $3 canvas bag is just what the weatherman ordered ;)

Showers and Flowers
My thrifting hibernation was unintentional, so... Who couldn't use a little pick me up on a rainy day? Looking ahead to spring, I thrifted a floral sheet, pillowcase and wooden handled purse. (I'm also being hopeful in moving away from a diaper bag and back to a real live purse!) A snappy $3 canvas bag is just what the weatherman ordered ;)

I scaled back my blogging time in an attempt to create more balance in my life, so I don't check friends blogs as often anymore. I hope you'll forgive my novel-length comment!
THAT BOOK is exactly what I need! As embarrassing as it is to admit, I am TOTALLY into Oprah's best-life theme right now, and for the first time EVER, I am motivated to eat right and exercise for health's sake alone! I've always monitered my diet based on the fear of gaining weight. I'm finally graduating to genuinely wanting a healthy body, a healthy mind, a healthy life. My goals this year are to make more time for myself. Healthy eating is a BIG priority, because my kids are growing up and I want to instill healthy habits that will last a lifetime... thanks for the tip! That book is going to be on the top of my shopping list. I hope it's at Costco or Sam's Club...

About the diaper bag...I hear ya!
You find the best thrifted sheets and pillowcases. I never find ANY when I go to thrift stores.

The lost of the diper bag is a milestone; well, it was for us with three so close. 1973 - 1977 +2 that was a long time with a dipper bag.
