18 Weeks

Here's the latest belly pic. If you look closely enough, you may notice that my belly button has started to poke out. I'm not even half way through yet!

Being pretty much housebound, I'm going through serious thrifting and crafting withdrawals. Yesterday, I couldn't take it anymore. Since Charlotte was with her grandma for the morning, I jumped in the car and drove to the nearest thrift store (5 minutes away). While I felt sick driving and walking, it was momentarily forgotten about when I spied this miniature blue guitar for C.
(That's a 12 inch ruler next to it.) Charlotte likes her papa to play his guitar. She sits and strums whenever he puts it down. So, when I saw this mini blue version - I snapped it up for $3.00. When she woke up this morning, the first thing she said was, "Mine guitar!"

If baby #2 turns out to be a drummer, we may have the makings of our own Partridge Family band. Sans the patchwork bus.

Yeah, an update! I checked your blog yesterday to figure out how many weeks you were...almost half way!

Wanted to tell you...cream of wheat has a lot of iron! Don't know if you can stomach it but I put some molasses in it and get my fill for the day!

Thanks, as always, for checking in with me and leaving kind comments:-)

I look forward to homeschool/preschooling my little Butterfly. I will keep you updated!

I've been having so much thrifting clothing this summer... I keep finding fun finds... I think I'm shopping enough for the both of us... Only no cute guitars like that one! I just know my little girl would love that...

I hope you get more and more moments of fresh air :O)

God bless you!!!

You gotta have the van! It wouldn't be as much fun without the van :)

Oh sweetie...I so feel for you. I was sick the first 13-14 weeks of all 4 of my pregnancies. I can't imagine being THAT sick for the whole thing. I'm so glad you decided to bear through it again. Down the road, you will be so glad you did! Will be praying for you...glad I found your blog.

First of all, CUTEST PREGNANT BELLY EVER! I LOVE the photo; you MUST keep them coming every few weeks.

And, YAY, I'm so happy that you were able to sneak out of the house and go thrifting, and WHAT A SCORE, Charlotte's very own guitar! The cutest little mini blue guitar EVER made, no less! How fun!!!

It's so great to get an update Diane! As usual, we're sending warm thoughts and wishes your way, and hoping that you survive all the unpleasantness of the pregnancy. Keep takin' care of yourself- we're all so excited for baby number two to debut at the end of the year!!!

Congratulations!! And hope you feel well and up to crafting gorgeous things soon!

And that guitar is absolutely adorable -- I love the blue! I'd like a big-people size for me... in electric pink :)
