Long overdue to be posted is this folksy short-sleeved sweater. I originally purchased it for
Acorn Pudding, but haven't been able to part with it - and posing for the pic is the first time I've even worn it! It's a sweet little cropped number (trust me, I am
super short-waisted) with emerald green stripes and flower motif. Here's the c.u.

Next up, my asian silk top. It's the palest shade of minty green. Just picked it up today for $4.00.

Finally, another 'should I keep it?' top. It may be a vintage PJ top. The buttons have sparkly rhinestone centers. I wrestle with letting it go because I hardly ever wear sheer clothing.

Oh, and the long brown lace hemmed tank was .25 cents from a garage sale this past weekend.
I'm on the hunt for more spring and summer goodness...
Diane ... I like the finds very much (esp. the asian style green shirt!) but what I am really liking is you modeling your finds ... YOu make a very good model :)!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mir! So funny, because I quickly showed H the pix in my post and he liked the clothes, then said, "Um, is that YOU??"
ReplyDeleteI like the asian!
ReplyDeleteAs for the model...I also was wondering if it was you!
The asian shirt is a beautiful color! We hardly have a yard sale season around here and when we do, a lot of the yard sales are ghetto because people here just don't know how to do it. Oh well! :)
ReplyDeleteWhy Diane! You look super sassy!!! I LOVE IT... And that little shortsleeve sweater. what a find!! Garage sale season will be starting up here in Kansas sometime next month. WHOOOOORAAAAYYYYY..... I just can't wait... I mean really can not wait to go do this.
ReplyDeleteIf I were you I would keep this finds for myself :O) And keep modeling!!
God Bless...
PS I am finishing up the homemade bean bags I'm making for my little one. I'm so excited. And as soon as I can steal away my dads old laptop I'm going to down load the pictures and post about my craft.....
I knew it was you!!! I knew it was you!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're a great model and I love your fnds. The sheer top would be especially lovely for more "dress up" occasions. I can't decide which I like best, perhaps the cropped sweater or the Asian top or . . .oh heck, I like them all.
Wow Diane, I am truly impressed. All three tops are wonderful! I think the little cropped sweater is my favorite. The flower motif reminds me of the one on the gray dress I thrifted for my niece, so adorable. I'm so glad you were inspired by the COTON post, can't wait to see what else you got!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I know sheer can be hard to wear, but I say keep the PJ top. It looks so so pretty and I actually like it over the black tank like that :) and I agree, great job with the modeling!
